From Skeptic to Founder: How a DIY Experiment Led to this website

Hi everyone, I’m Jack — founder of Glow Ritual.

And if you had told me five years ago that I’d be building a skincare company centered around snail mucin, I would have laughed. Loudly.

My journey into skincare wasn’t glamorous. It started with frustration.

Like many of you, I struggled with my skin. For me, it was dryness and sensitivity that nothing seemed to fix. I tried everything — department store brands, pharmacy shelves, trendy products from online ads. Some helped a little; most did nothing. Others made my skin even angrier.

I felt stuck. I was tired of overpromising and underdelivering. I was tired of complex routines that took forever and cost a fortune.

The Turning Point: A Trip & A Truth

A few years ago, I traveled to South Korea for work. Skincare there isn’t a luxury; it’s a way of life. I was amazed by the innovation, the focus on gentle yet powerful ingredients, and the incredible results people achieved.
